A documented early chapter in my destination-marketing career: participation in the team behind the “Chopin / Polska—The Course” promotional project and its VIP gala in Stockholm City Hall in June 2010.
Culture as an introduction to a destination
The project used a major cultural occasion to create a setting for the promotion of Poland. My July 2010 employer reference identifies it as an EU co-financed promotional project and names the gala as its main feature. The supplied photograph archive provides a visual record of the occasion.
My documented contribution
The reference records active participation in the organising team. It does not describe me as the sole organiser, artistic director or producer, so those titles are not added here. My wider responsibilities at the time included invitations, promotional content, presentations, visual material and practical office coordination.
What this chapter taught me
An institutional event brings many priorities into one room: cultural content, guest experience, partner expectations and the practical running order. This experience belongs to the foundation of my later work with press programmes, trade encounters and campaigns involving several organisations.
